I spent a lot of time preparing for multiple interviews and traveling to campus for a final interview with the president and was ghosted by HR and committee head. Very unprofessional and the process seemed rigged for an internal candidate. Please do not waste time putting people through the process if a candidate is preselected.
The hiring process is pretty slow. I had two interviews overvalued. One was a panel and the other was with vice president. It took about 2-3 months for the whole process.
