The hiring process was effective, with involvement from the manager and senior team members. The manager was friendly and put me at ease, while the questions were challenging. I was very satisfied with the process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tax Systems (Staines, England) in Oct 2024

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tax Systems in Sept 2024
Interview
Iwas initially contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. After submitting my CV, I was invited to an interview with the hiring lead. This interview lasted about an hour and a half, during which the hiring lead asked questions about my previous experience and work style. The conversation wasn’t based on a set list of questions; instead, the hiring lead adapted the interview based on my responses, which I appreciated as it felt like a genuine effort to get to know me.
The second stage involved an interview with a Product Manager and a Business Analyst. I found this stage the most challenging, as the questions were more specific and detailed, requiring me to dive deeper into my experiences and thought processes. This interview lasted just over an hour.
The final stage was an interview with HR. It consisted of more standard, scripted questions and lasted about 20 minutes. These questions didn’t have right or wrong answers but were more focused on assessing individuality and character, depending on what qualities the company was seeking in a candidate.
