I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TaxHawk (Provo, UT) in Nov 2024
Interview
Although it took a while to get to the point of interviews, I found this to be a very positive interview experience.
I applied for the position on Sept 27 which included an online technical evaluation and was sent an email requesting an interview on November 11.
I interviewed in-person that week. The first interview was very positive, aiming at culture fit. It was held in a conference room with 4 people in-person and a remote team member on a screen. The people in the interview were very kind and made it a very stress-free interview which I greatly appreciated! I received word only hours later that I was invited for a second interview which was held the same week. The second interview was also a positive experience but a bit more technical than behavioural although both experiences had a mix of both.
I received word of their final decision just over half a week later.

Interview
This job was posted on BYU's campus as they were looking for accounting students. I applied and was asked by email to come in for an interview. The interview was fairly basic to ensure I had an understanding of accounting and would be a good fit. They called me a few days later and offered a job.
