Panel interview with two panellists, one of whom was doing the role at the same level. Interview was standard competency based questions with a few industry specific discussion points to ascertain critical thinking and engagement.

Interview
The interview lasted 75 minutes and was fairly relaxed. The two interviewers first gave me a chance to introduce myself and walk them through my previous work experience and then they asked competency questions - for five competencies I was asked to explain how I met them by giving examples from my previous work.
Where I think I went wrong was that I gave detailed accounts of my previous role, without sufficiently emphasising my ability to adapt to new ways of working and showing my understanding of what the role I applied for would entail.
