I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Teach for America (Philadelphia, PA) in Feb 2009
Interview
First round is a phone interview where the interviewer asks you questions about America's education achievement gap and why you want to be a teacher. Second round interviews are all day and consist of a sample lesson, group interview, and individual interview. Individual interview is the most important. Asks you strength/weakness questions and why you want to become a teacher.
