I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Teacher Created Materials in Jan 2025
Interview
I didn't get offer and I am glad I didn't get offer.lol
The phone interview was terrible. I can't hear well because the phone has buzz noise. I applied this job because I used this company products for more than 3 years, I like those books and my students also learned a lot from those. I want to share my experience to interviewer, but that person didn't care, keep asking me why did you quit your JOBS?

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Teacher Created Materials in Jan 2017
Interview
Several email messages as well as phone screening via their recruiter. Nothing special here, pretty straight forward. Next step was an online "face to face" meeting with manager. Very nice guy, friendly and likeable and someone I think I could work for and with. Pretty casual conversation, he asked what I had been doing the past year which I told him (lots of volunteer work and other personal certification classes), he also asked about the types of companies and jobs I had applied for and why. He asked if I would have taken any of them and why. I explained that two positions I was the final candidate but in both instances the companies eliminated the division shortly after I was the last guy standing and a third company underwent a merger and no longer had an opening. So, this was getting into an area that is really no one's business, of course I would have taken the job, I have been out of work for almost 2 years. So it became a game of his trying to figure out if I was serious or not about this position. I did state that I would not have applied if I didn't want it. The bottom line is I wasn't particularly sharp, it was a Friday afternoon interview, that was stacked on top of a morning interview that I crushed and quite honestly thought I was going to get so I wasn't at my best.
