I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TeamViewer in Mar 2020
Interview
- contacted by a consultant through linkedIn (End of February)
- very well introduced to the company's product portfolio and job responsibilities
- first phone call interview with Hiring Manager
- second interview with Hiring Manager and VP through Blizz
- exchange phone call with a local TeamViewer colleague about working at TV and Market
- finding a conclusion and received contract by HR
personally I always felt in good hands. the communication was pretty open and pleasant.
2 thumbs up!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Actually there was no difficult question (personal feeling)
It felt like just free talking about my background, highlighting similarities to the TeamViewer Solution or explaining Sales Cycles on specific applications.
Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your positive feedback.
We wish you success and an exciting time at TeamViewer. You enrich our company with your presence.
Best regards

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at TeamViewer (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2023
Interview
Condecending, unorganized. 1 call with recruiter, 1 call with manager of this team (rude, arrogant), then based on the falvor of the day for the manager, they decide off the cuff how they want to run.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
This manager has no clue how to run sales teams or how to treat people, and their past success is based on the fact they were associated to a product that sold itself.
I had a suspicion about this Company's hiring practices, so when they put a job ad out in JHB I created a fake CV, perfectly matching the job spec and then some. An unachievable perfect candidate for the specific role. But...I made it a white male. Quite quickly I received a rejection email. My suspicion was because they put "all genders" next to their job ads - newsflash Einstein...people already know the job is open to all genders...because it would be illegal to discriminate based on gender...that's why no other companies put "all genders" next to their job ads. The only reason you would do that is if the person whose idea it was is a virtue-signalling imbecile with 0 self-awareness. Or because you know it isn't actually open to all genders, just the ones that get you diversity points.
I applied online. I interviewed at TeamViewer (Göppingen) in Feb 2021
Interview
From the very beginning, the process was respectful and professional. The HR business partner's transparency and feedback loop enabled me to understand clearly how the discussions took place and what the next steps look like.
I've been in the industry for 10 years and can confidently say that such engagement is rare and that if a company practices their processes with such understanding, professionalism and respect, it speaks volumes about their culture.
