I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Teavana (Charlotte, NC) in June 2012
Interview
I received a call that I was granted an interview scheduled for the following Monday. When I arrived for the interview I asked for the manager and he greeted himself and asked if I would like a cup of tea while he set up everything. While I waited I talked to the employees and everyone seemed really cool and cheerful. We headed out to a couch in the mall where the interview commenced. He asked me questions like what I thought about my previous job, and what I did there, and what I would like to do in the future. Then something really unexpected happen. He started asking me if I had any questions, LIKE 10-15 times! So I started questioning everything about the job and business alike which I think impressed him.

Interview
The employee i met with initially was incredibly unhelpful with instructing me to the manager as i handed in my resume. Was told to meet with manager at a different location. Pretty cold, straightforward. All questions related to sales, sales experience, sales sales sales. If you've never had previous retail experience this will be difficult. Was told straight up that if I wasn't meeting sales goals I would be let go. That I would only get hours if I sold well.

Interview
Very informal interview where I was simply asked a series of questions. Finally, I was asked to pretend that I was a Sales Associate who needed to convince them to buy it by talking about why it was a perfect fit for their home, why they had to buy it right now instead of coming back and why I believe in the product that I was trying to sell to them.
