TekSynap interview questions

Was approached by the head of employment about my interest in the position with TekSynap who evaluated my experience and credentials against the requirements for a position managing the firm's marketing website. They scheduled a 45-minute interview with the marketing head and a few members of the team a few days later. The interview was mostly behavioral with the lead reading pre-written questions for me to respond to. It was cordial, but no one on the panel was able to answer technical questions about the role. The one technical member of the hiring team was not in attendance and the interview concluded early. I was told several days later that they decided to go with someone who has previous experience leading a team which seemed incongruous with the hiring process as I was not asked about hiring direct reports or managing a team during the process and had been primed to expect an individual contributor role.
