I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Tenable (Singapore) in July 2022
Interview
1. Approached by recruiter
2. 10 min brief of how many interviews and their kind
3. 30 min technical test
4. Technical interview ranging from Linux Windows and Networking.
5. Manager Interview
Tech interview should be easy for most if you put in at least 2 hours of prep.
I didn't because it was right smack in the middle of work day and I had the interview the day after the recruiter approached me. Wasted opportunity but all in all, I think if I had a second shot I would definitely get it.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tenable (Columbia, MD) in July 2024
Interview
After being referred by multiple people, I had a remote interview. I'm ND, but can navigate an interview (as well as the job). The interview was made extremely uncomfortable from the get go. Made it very difficult to perform.
During the first interview, I was asked very few technical questions, they suggested other roles, and I never heard from them again.
During the interview, from several questions, it also seems like they are no longer interested in providing much training for hired candidates.
I applied online. I interviewed at Tenable in Feb 2023
Interview
Terrible experience with the recruiter. Applied for the role, recruiter got back to me asking some follow up questions and did not even bother to reply back as to whether I am shortlisted further.
To make it worse, this same recruiter sent me a linkedin mail to say that I am a good fit for the role. I responded back to the message saying that I already applied for the role, provided the information requested back and there was no response. As expected, this recruiter did not respond back.
It leaves such a bad taste in the whole recruitment experience. If I am ever a decision maker when it comes to using their products, I would think twice about engaging them as a vendor.
