I applied online. I interviewed at TeraPore Technologies
Interview
First two interviews were with someone from a VC firm, and second was with the VP. Both of these were fairly straightforward and talked about my background and different experiences and situations I’ve been in. Last was with the ceo and it went off the rails pretty quickly. She asked if I would be comfortable following people onto an elevator at conferences. Also what my greatest failure is and how did I deal with the most difficult person I ever worked with. I was expecting a friendly conversation and it felt quite hostile.

I interviewed at TeraPore Technologies (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Interview by a panel of current workers, around 6 people. It was fairly simple and straightforward. Took about 1.5 hours, most questions were job related and about knowledge of filtration in general.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TeraPore Technologies (South San Francisco, CA) in May 2020
Interview
The interview went through 3 phases. Phase one was a basic phone interview that was relatively easy. Phase two was an onsite interview for which I just needed to describe the experiences on my resume and how I was able to work through problems. Then phase three was phone negotiations. I was told that they are making offers to two candidates and that I was one of them. We then negotiated the terms and two days later, they emailed me and told me that they actually decided to hire only one of us and the other person had already accepted. They did not offer an apology or further explanation. This was not a pleasant experience and I deemed this behavior very unprofessional.
