It the company with the worst HR I’ve ever seen. They do not reply to you letters and behave like they are suzerain and you are feodary. I had applied to the position, but had any no reply during 3 months. So I had almost forgotten about this application and concentrated on others. Then HR person contacted me asking to have a 24-houred technical exam. I agreed and we scheduled the date. I asked her to send the letter with question on Sunday morning and specially pointed her local time. However I received letter on Saturday, which I had to spend with family. Therefore I started the test at evening and did during the night. It was a large test with my reply of about 15 pages in the Word. After that they kept the silence and did not reply to my e-mails. Suddenly after 3 weeks HR person contacted me again and said that I passed the examination and she wants to schedule an interview with engineer in the team I applied to. I had a good technical interview with those guys, where we discussed technical problems and approaches to solve them. But after that I had no any reply from Tesla and HR did not reply to my letters. Then after month she contacted again and asked me to schedule an interview with the team leader. In this interview we discussed my experience, I explained my papers and patents, etc. Then he suggested me waiting for the reply from HR. However I did not receive any letter or notification. I wrote several letters, but HR did not reply. I understand that Tesla faced with problems and qualified people are leaving the company, but this approach demonstrates disrespectful attitude to possible candidates, which I could not find even in the small companies and start-ups. So I do not recommend dealing with them.
