      Interview

This company discriminated against me when I went for an assessment day. This painful conclusion is best explained by their reaction to my performance on the day, the fact that no feedback was given despite their assurances and patiently chasing them and that they broke their own policy which said requested feedback would be given. This conclusion is at odds with what I want to believe. It feels horrible to believe in such a thing, which is why most people would not want to hold such as view. However, the truth may not be what you want, so regardless of the emotional difficulty of the most rational conclusion, I must accept it. It's unfortunate that people who allow their expectations to shape their views will almost always confirm those expectations, leading to incorrect beliefs. People expect not to be discriminated against, and this could cloud their perception of whether it occurred, regardless of how many times you hear the "We don't discriminate on the grounds of x,y,z..." assertion. Do not be afraid to take legal aid if necessary. There are those not interested in simply making money who can help you, so you're not alone. Also, be skeptical of these glowing reviews of their employees, given they were added in a short duration by those with motives, hence unlikely they are totally dispassionate and genuine.
