I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Columbus, OH) in Jan 2015
Interview
You talk to the owner and he asks stupid questions that don't really pertain to the job, he just has to do what corporate tells him so he doesn't get in trouble.
In person with multiple people being interviewed at the same time as you, usually starts with the manager and if they like you, they would introduce you and the owner of the restaurant will interview you and give you the job on the spot.
Easy and straightforward. Talk about your experience and why you want to work there. Hired me on spot and organized my orientation days. Worked with my schedule and accept seasonal work.
