I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TextRecruit (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2017
Interview
Applied online for the TextRecruit Account Manager position and heard back within 24 hours from Megan, who is in charge of recruitment. She was fantastic! Set up a time to meet with Megan and Tina, Account Management Team Lead, soon thereafter in San Jose -- we grabbed coffee and chatted about the role and company a bit on a Monday, and I went in for an onsite interview that Wednesday. Met with Erik Kostelnik, CEO, who was down to earth and intelligent, Jon Zoob, Sales Director, Christina Chan (CSM), and Tina. The buzz around the office was contagious -- everyone seemed to be genuinely excited to be there. Also got to try the sourest candy of all time :). Left the interview feeling energized and motivated and received a verbal and official offer letter within 24 hours.
Having worked with many startups during my time as a recruiter, I have to say that this was the best interview cycle I've seen with a company of their size. They are growing quickly and seem to invest deeply in their team -- and it shows.
As far as startups go, TextRecruit has got an extra helping of the "secret sauce." If you're looking for a company with a solid product suite, positive growth trajectory, and a stellar team, look no further.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TextRecruit (San Jose, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Applied online, Recruiter got in touch and scheduled for a 30 minute phone interview. Most of the first call was describing the role and making sure it was a good fit. After the call, I was emailed to schedule about 2 hours for an on-site. They also give you access to your own TextRecruit account to try out. Do your research and bring questions to the table! They're located in the WeWork office and the onsite interview was fairly casual. The next day, I had a call with the CTO. They will definitely dig into why you want to work here and ask you to explain what TextRecruit is, be prepared! Some interviewers kept it casual while others were more serious. Overall, the vibe was super friendly. After the whole interview process is over, they're pretty quick in letting you know if you got the job.
