Interview
I submitted my resume online and got a hit from the Hunt Valley, MD, recruiter in less than 2 hours! I was scheduled for a telephone interview with the VP of Global Sales & Strategy two weeks later. I was immediately invited for an in-person interview with the hiring panel, as I live in the midwest the flight, hotel and rental car arrangements were made through Textron. My panel inteview was awkward, as only 3 of 6 panelists showed up and it was totally unstructured. The panelists did not take notes and struggled to ask cogent questions. I was advised to save all of my travel receipts to submit them for reimbursement to my recruiter. I completed the Form W-9 and provided all the receipts to my recruiter for approximately $242.50 five weeks ago and have not recieved my reimbursement check. The entire review and recruiting process was very disjointed and poorly executed.

Interview
Initially contacted for a phone screening, followed by an appointment to interview with the hiring manager, key group personnel and the group VP. Interviews were scheduled for an hour with each person. All took the hour or longer. I took that as a good sign. Everyone was pretty nice and professional. It was the standard type of interview questions one would expect. No curve balls, some difficult questions but nothing tricky. The difficult questions came form the hiring manager and his boss.
