The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Benefit Companies (Brookfield, WI) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interview process was a positive experience, despite not being offered the position. I initiated contact through the company's website and subsequently participated in a telephone screening. This was followed by an in-person interview, during which my resume and prior completion of a Pre-employment assessment were discussed. Throughout the interview, I felt at ease and comfortable.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Benefit Companies (Brookfield, WI) in Feb 2017
Interview
Initially started with a phone interview. Then I took an online test that was more about personality and skills Then they brought me in for two separate in person interviews. I received an offer on the second interview.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at The Benefit Companies (Brookfield, WI) in June 2010
Interview
The interview process was extremely long for an entry-level position. Even when hiring for clients, we would use a $150 'assessment' for people going into a $8/hr cleaning job! This would include sections with reading, writing, math, and other areas. Very similar to an ACT/ SAT-type test. When I interviewed, I was contacted by phone first, and essentially, that's when the phone screen took place. I was brought in for a face-to-face (it was 1:1, not a panel, but I did meed with the CEO), and the process went quite quickly - I don't think it was over 2 weeks from initial contact to offer.

Question 1
The assessment overall, as well as what I felt were fairly irrelevant questions. This company is primarily made up of Insurance Professionals, and the interview process is likely different for them. When I was there, the entry-level recruiters were helping to identify insurance professionals, and this was probably not the smartest thing as - at least for me - I didn't know what to look for in the resume of the various Insurance professional, and I imagine others probably didn't either. I think this is probably not happening anymore.
