Applied online and was emailed back for an interview. The website wasn't working to schedule one, so I had to call to schedule one. The interview was fairly quick and I was offered the job. I was told that two weeks after the interview would be my first day of work. I left after the interviewer said he would contact me the following day to discuss hours and such. I never got a call. I figured he was busy so I waited another day and called them. I even went into the bar a few times to ask what was going on and every response was "he'll get back to you today/tonight/tomorrow." He never got back to me. I contacted them again the day before my first day to ask what shift they wanted me and if they still were offering the position and they said they would call the following afternoon if they needed me. Again- I got no call. It's one thing if they rejected me, but they specifically told me that I had the job and told me my start day. They never followed up and it just left a bad impression. I don't know what was going on because no one could give me an answer. I missed out on a lot of interviews and time applying to more jobs because they strung me along. Very unprofessional.
