I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Broad Institute (Cambridge, MA) in June 2015
Interview
Two interviews on site, asking question on my background, few more question about my technical skills and presenting their project. All interviewers were nice and pleasant. After two weeks from the second interview they told me that after talking to the big boss, they cannot offer me the position.

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Broad Institute in Nov 2021
Interview
Annoying, disrespectful process overall. The had me do a coding exam, and a "one way video interview" and have previous employers fill out a form and answer questions as references. This took up quite a lot of my time, and previous employers' time. They then gave me a roughly half hour interview, which basically covered what is on my resume and seemed to go fine. I got an automated rejection email later that day with no explanation whatsoever.

Interview
I applied three teams there, and two out of the three teams had coding tests. While waiting for one team to respond, I was invited to in-person interviews for the two of the three teams.
