I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Buckle (Woodland Hills, CA) in July 2011
Interview
I applied online and received an email telling me to call the store to set up an interview, which I did the very next day. The interview was extremely awkward as it was in the corner of the store standing up. She asked me basic questions and it lasted no more then 5 minutes, and I walked out, never to be called again.
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

Question 1
How well do you do interacting with people you do not know?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
