I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Buckle in Mar 2012
Interview
I applied online and then received an email, telling me to call Buckle to schedule an interview. I called and then had an interview set up the next day. I wear mostly buckle clothes anyways, so I really wasn't worried about how I was dressed (if you don't wear buckle clothes, don't even bother applying there). I got there 5-minutes early, talked to someone and they said "okay give me a minute." So I just looked around; from what other reviews say, I think they were just judging me to see if I would go and look at clothes or talk to any of the other employees there, which I did. 10 minutes later, the same women who I talked to gave me the interview, I didn't know what her job title was but I'm assuming she was an assistant manager. The interview was literally like 5-minutes with basic interview questions. Overall, she was nice to me, and said that she would "shoot me up with and email in about 48hrs" to see if I got the job or not; if they say that, then you don't have the job because nobody sends and email to hire someone. But the only reason I didn't get the job is because I have no job experience what so ever, and they were looking for more experienced people, which I understand. Oh well, it was a good interview experience!
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How well do you do interacting with people you do not know?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
