I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Cigna Group in May 2012
Interview
I began by applying for approximately 10 positions listed on the Cigna web site that matched my interests. I received an email requesting I call 'talent coordinator' had a good chat, learned I was over qualified, but person I spoke with said she would send my app to different coordinator who would have positions better suited for me (I have a MSW and licensed as an independent clinical Social Worker). The other coordinator send an email requesting we have a phone interview, during that interview she set up for me to have a face to face interview. I'm really glad a pal told me about Glass Door - I did my homework about the interview process - glad I did. Cigna does 'behavioral interviews' (Glass Door and Google to the rescue!) The interview began by being asked some really unusual questions - 'tell me about a business that is failing' and talk about a time you were not prepared' After that, I had two 'cases' one of the two interviewers presented - I had to discuss diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan. I must have done well; my talent coordinator called me Monday & informed me I was wanted but would I be interested in talking with a different unit. I said sure, why not. So Tuesday I was called by the manager of a group in Texas - we had a great time talking for about 30 minutes. On Wednesday morning I got the call offering me a position. And I accepted. Within hours I completed the form for my background search and drug screen. I also submitted my letter of resignation & I start in 2 weeks .

Interview
It was a Virtual interview with two employees, series of standard interview questions. The employees did not seem very interested in the interview and seems to quickly want to get off the call.
It was great. The process was easy and straight forward. I completed 3 interviews, first one with a hiring manager, then a manager and then the onsite team. After the onsite meeting, things moved very quickly.
