Interview
It was a pretty easy process. There was a phone interview, virtual interview, and then a four hour Blitz day with lots of back to back interviews and a presentation.
Went through full-cyle interview process for MLDP Summer Internship program. The process consisted of a recruiter phone screen call, interview with program manager, four back-to-back final round interviews and a formal presentation. The process took about 6 weeks total and was a huge time commitment.
After the last interview I sent thank you notes to all the interviewers, yet never heard back from anyone. As a matter of fact, the company ghosted me completely after six weeks of dialogue and interviews. No offer acceptance/rejection call. The company didn't even update my status in their ATS - just completely dropped off planet earth. I followed up with the recuiter every week for four weeks and no respnose. Finally, after emailing the program manager, all I got in response was a boilerplate rejection email template that was auto-sent from the ATS.
All in all, it was a terrible candidate experience and left a bad smear on Cigna's employer brand reputation. I don't intend on seeking future employment with a company that treats its candidates in this manner. There was no human element to the post-interview communication process whatsoever.
