Easy to apply, quick turnaround in response. Application required candidates to write civil service behaviours which were then graded. Those who passed threshold were then invited to an interview where behaviours were assessed again alongside other competencies

The interview process was clear and involved just one session where senior staff discussed the civil service competencies with me, as well as previous work experiences. The interview lasted approximately forty minutes.
