I applied online. I interviewed at The Gel Group (Asheville, NC)
Interview
I was led on for weeks regarding an opening for an interview. No sense of urgency or concern for potential candidates. Horrible communication and updates on the job process. The interview consisted of meeting a small team with the director. Team seemed nice. Director was unprofessional, highly immature, and lacked to describe positives or enjoyment out of the work being accomplished. He felt it was necessary to mention his distaste for northerners who move south passive aggressively as he proceeded to try to be intimidating, sloppily. It was just a low consciousness individual taking pride in being ignorant and arrogant. Would absolutely not recommend. If you don't fit the image or expectation of a hick redneck male, don't apply. They will do everything in their power to remain comfortable while trying to weed you out with negative, unecessary comments. Still have not heard from the director, and I know it's deliberate. If you're so adamant on representing the south (which really isn't the south, FL is), then you just showed how much lack of intelligence and class still resides there . You can keep the job. I'm trying to progress in my life, not regress.

Question 1
Do you have experience in utility locating? How did you hear about the company, etc?
Honestly, I almost turned around the moment I walked in. I immediately lost interest.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at The Gel Group (Charleston, SC)
Interview
I was referred by an individual who works there. The interview was quick and laid back. The interviewer explained the job and took me on a tour. After the first interview I interviewed with HR who asked questions about my life and past job experiences.
