The interview process lasted 1 day and went very well. It was one on one and lasted about 30 minutes. The manager wanted to get to know me and make sure that I had transferable skills as I had never worked in a hotel before.

Situational questions and “tell me about a time when you…”
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at The Grand Hotel and Suites (Toronto, ON) in May 2015
Interview
They connected with my by phone and set up the interview in person. The interview itself was no longer than 5 minutes and it was already obvious that they don't want me to work there. The interviewer didn't appear to be interested in my answers and it looked like he is trying to get rid of me. Even it was only 5 minutes of my time it still was an interview for a job I wanted and, to be honest, I'd prefer to be told at the point of meeting this person that they don't want me rather than answering questions and see that he doesn't care.
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Grand Hotel and Suites (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2014
Interview
I was interviewed by the front office manager and her assistant. The interview took place in Citrus which is the hotel's restaurant. Very casual interview and was given a call back the same week of my interview to inform me that I got the position
