I applied online. I interviewed at The Honest Company (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Had several rounds of interviews, some with people I wouldn't be working directly with so it seemed haphazardly put together at times. Overall was a fine process but overly long for the position.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Honest Company (Playa Vista, CA) in Dec 2024
Interview
The process was entirely too many rounds. Although I was made aware during round 1, there were never any hard hitting questions that required this process to take 2 months. It was not for assistant to the CEO, it was for assistant to Chief of Staff. I had to constantly follow up to schedule. Then the job was reposted & I still had not interviewed with anyone in leadership by that point. I emailed a screenshot of the repost & was told the role was filled after someone else told me it was paused. Best of luck to whomever accepted that offer, they’re very unorganized. **Dear companies, your candidates do not need to interview with everyone in the building**
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself. This was asked about 3 different ways.
There were too many interviews for a job that pays too little, the interview process also felt quite demanding for the level of the role, the hiring manager had poor communication, and I just felt like felt my time wasn't respected at all.
