Called the contact name and number that was displayed on the 'come join my team' board in Floral Department of Jewel. I spoke with personnel first and submitted my resume plus applied online as directed. I was contacted a couple hours later for an interview date and time. I interviewed two days later with the Store Director. In the interview we discussed my diverse and lengthy past administrative experience, which did not include any grocery store or floral experience. He pitched Jewel Osco as having excellent benefits and growth opportunities mostly. At the end of the meeting, after discussing what they were looking for (in general) and what I was looking for, we both excitedly decided to give it a try. I was asked my desired salary and received it. I then went to personnel and given the next orientation date/time. You could not start working until after orientation.
