Executive Functioning Learning Specialist (Remote) Interview

      25 Aug 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Windsor, CO
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Ladder Method (Windsor, CO) in Aug 2025

      Interview

I *thought* my interview went really well. After my first interview where I answered questions about my teaching philosophy and practice, I was told I made it to the next round. I was asked to submit two professional references and when they were received, I would be asked to do a background check. I provided two exceptional professional references who were not my former supervisor for various reasons. They both confirmed with me that they gave glowing references. I received an email saying that I would not be moving on in the hiring process two business days later with no reasoning. I was actually really excited about this role and really thought that I would have been a great fit, so I reached out for clarity. Not a horrible experience, but I would appreciate more communication and transparency.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How do you handle stress? How do you do working with high-income populations? How would you respond to a client that is not happy with the academic results from their student?
