The Newt in Somerset interview questions

Online interview followed by another interview on site with the manager and supervisor, both positive. Then called back for another interview with the head of department that turned out to be a 2 minute chat while he walked to a different meeting; 2 hour round trip for a 2 minute conversation that turned out to have no real bearing on whether I got the job.
