Laid back conversation with professors who want to employ you. Typically related to your own research interests and skill set. My experiences have been very positive on the whole. Professors typically want to help you develop and have an incentive to see you build your research agenda.

Interview
The interview process was very smooth, and the professor made me feel comfortable. The professor was interested in learning about my background, my motivation, my interests and shared information about the funding project. He explained the deliverables and what was expected of me as a GRA.

Interview
Ohio State has the standard interview process for physics grad schools. You submit an application and if you are approved, there's an open house you can attend before you make your decision. There was no formal, sit-down interview.
Two times of interview. In the first time, just one professor interview me. In the second time, there are four professor give me the interview. The question is not too hard to answer.
