Interview
Very easy and they do not waste your time. Basic questions about your background, what experience makes you qualified to work here, why do you want to work here, etc. Do some light rehearsing and you'll do fine. I got hired on the spot. If they don't hire you on the spot then you did not get the job so keep applying and keep looking. I promise you, no casual dining establishment needs more than 10 minutes to decide whether they want to hire someone for hosting or not. Bring I9 documents that verify your citizenship and right to work in California in case they do hire you!

Thorough and thoughtful interview process. Asked eveerything on my resume from school, projects, previous jobs. Be ready for examples of conflict resolution and customer service tasks if any experience. They check references so please hve good sources ready.

Interview
It was in person, nothing too difficult was asked when interviewing. You should still properly prepare for it, but honestly, just rehearsing it on your own is enough to ace it.
