Began with an external recruiter who was great. Had a conversation and a behavioral interview. Then moved to interview with a Chief. He was late to “interviews”, texted during them, and was clearly disengaged. This process rewarded people who were just like him-it left a really bad impression.
Rigorous, but thorough and a fair shake. Panel interview style with multiple people who have worked in the company for a while. You get the sense that these people love the work, which is what you want.

Question 1
How would you handle this difficult scenario while keeping with our guidelines?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Opportunity Network in June 2024
Interview
About a week after applying, I heard back from the hiring coordinator and an interview was scheduled. Not even 48 hours later, I received another email that after some "internal developments", the position was no longer hiring. How can that happen so soon? Extremely disappointed and this feels like an instance of resume harvesting.
