I was contacted by a Senior Recruiter on LinkedIn about a position that I am well qualified for and he asked for a time to set up an interview. There was a lapse in communication and he apologized for the delay. I gave him the time I was available and I never heard from him again. Ghosting is extremely unprofessional. Don't contact people and ask them to set time aside for you if that's how you conduct business. It is particularly problematic when recruiting for a DEI position because it is contradictory to DEI strategy for both client and staffing agency.
