I knew the role would be working with children when applying. There was no mention of needing experience working with children in the advert, and was not re-iterated in their emails when offering an interview. Interview took place in another city than the job is based which wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The interview itself was fine, and I was told I would receive an email that same night on if I was successful. It took two weeks to get a response from them after emails and voicemails being ignored. I was told I was not successful because they went with someone with more experience working with children. Completely understandable, although I could have been saved being messed around should this requirement been made clear, and I had not been ignored after the interview.
