I had an initial phone interview with a recruiter. It was very helpful to hear more about the company and the role. I was asked to talk about my work history and never felt any pressure. I enjoyed speaking with the recruiter and liked that it was two people having a conversation. I was then asked to meet with the hiring manager. Right away the hiring manager put me at ease, stated she likes to conduct interviews as a conversation. We talked for about an hour and I felt very good about speaking with her and never felt there was a trick question in the conversation.
