I applied online. I interviewed at The RealReal (Phoenix, AZ) in Dec 2020
Interview
Phone Interview followed by 3 google hangout interviews. It was really great to get to meet with a few different people to get a real feel for company culture and how this position interacts with others. I was able to gain a good understanding of the role so there were no surprises going in.

Interview
I applied for the position online and was contacted rather quickly to schedule a call. It was a quick conversation about my resume and why I was interested in The RealReal. We spoke a bit about recent things the organization is working on. At the end of the call, I was told that I would hear back within 48-72 hours to schedule a video interview with the team. Over 10 days have now passed and I haven't heard anything. It's quite unfortunate that the communication went from "you're going to the next interview" to being completely ghosted.

Interview
I received an email immediately about setting up an interview. Was definitely excited to interview with the company. The gentleman that called me was rushing through the call and explained the role so fast that it was hard to process. Mentioned several times that I was a top applicant and then never heard from him again. I sent a thank you/follow up email asking about the next steps but never heard anything back. My advice for the recruiting team would be let a candidate know if they are not going to be moving forward with them. It takes two seconds to send an email and it's just nice to inform them.
