I applied online. I interviewed at The Responsible Gambling Council (Toronto) in Sept 2025
Interview
I had a phone screen with the company. The call came without prior email notice and felt a bit rushed, and I didn’t receive any follow-up afterward. Overall, the process could have been smoother.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Responsible Gambling Council in June 2024
Interview
The process was 3 rounds. I received an initial request for a phone interview that lasted 15 minutes. I then was moved onto an interview with the HR person and the potential direct manager. This was pleasant enough and they were nice and responsive (head nods, responding positively to stories).
I was then moved to the third stage where I was interviewed by direct manager, HR manager and two senior staff members. It included a brief presentation/slideshow on a strategy to reduce gambling risk and a couple paragraphs on a campaign I worked on and was proud of. I was only able to go over the presentation for 5 minutes which felt very rushed. The questions were a bit vague and not specific. In the last round it was more focused, on personality, work style and communication. The interview process was very repetitive over all, but pleasant.
My one gripe is that they did not connect with me to let me know if I have been selected or rejected which I found to be insensitive and unprofessional.
