Interview
Very straightforward process. They ask about you knowledge of Excel and your background using it. They also give you an instruction manual before the interview for a specific software they use to create CFAs. They want to see how well you understood the manual.

Interview
I had an introductory phone interview with a recruiter from TRG in March 23. She asked about my goals for my career and when I said that I wanted to be a CA to learn the industry after my internships and 5 year program in Financial Planning. She let me know that I was a risk to train as I didn't have experience on the Schwab software even though I made it clear I had used similar software through my previous jobs. She informed me that I would need to participate in the New Advisor Support Plan which is basically a 40 month program where they use you as a marketing tool and for cold calling for well over a year before you can begin studying for your securities licensing. This company is just trying to take advantage of those looking to break into the space and use them to heavily market shady pension rollovers to retiring seniors.
