I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Sales Connection in Mar 2024
Interview
They put you through several assessments, have you send in a video of why you'd be a good fit for the role/company, just to interview with the recruiter. If the recruiter likes you, they will pass you along to the hiring manager, then the offer comes. They list the job as a base salary + commission, only to find out that it's 100% commission. It's also a one call close environment, so no relationship building whatsoever. Both the recruiter and hiring manager were late to the interview process. Overall it seems like a company that would be good for a transactional, no-emotion sales rep that wants to close business on repeat in 30 minutes or less. Decent earning potential once you're ramped up. My guess is there is a very high burnout rate with this type of role, based on past experiences and my experience with the interview process.

Question 1
Why are you on your cell phone and not a laptop/desktop?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Sales Connection (New York, NY) in June 2023
Interview
Job posting states a base salary plus commission on LinkedIn However, after a long 5 step interview process and once you finally meet with a person, they tell you it is commission only. Then they try to sell you on a Commission only job. Very unethical, not sure how companies are allowed to operate with such a level of dishonestly. Based on my experience, I'm sure all the positive reviews are fake and made up.
