I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at The Sofa & Chair Company
Interview
First interview round was a Teams call of 30 minutes. Went through my background and experience, and they explained the role in more detail. Interviewer was pleasant but I was already deterred by the bad reviews from former and current employees.

Interview
The interview process consisted of two face-to-face interviews: the first with the design team and the second with the CEO. Both interviews were question-based and did not include any assignments. After the initial interview, I was told that I would be receiving an offer. However, they decided to have the CEO interview me as well.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Sofa & Chair Company (London, England) in May 2022
Interview
Interviewed by the COO and the owner. Interview process was easy, had a meeting with the COO over teams then met the owner in person for the 2nd interview. This was where it got interesting and the red flags began to appear ... the COO seemed lovely, bit it was clear he was desperate for the support as there were many remarks about current team members leaving he alos seemed intimidated by the owner. When the owner began to interview me, mid sentence he started to vape as he questioned me... it was the strangest thing I had ever experienced, he then went on to ask me strange questions like what my husband did for a living and if he supported my family as the main breadwinner. Most questions were personal and non sourcing/job related. I had previously communicated the need for flexible working, and their idea of flexibility was 4 days in the office 1 day from home... An offer was made at 5k lower than what I had already communicated what the actual lowest amount I would accept, and they were shocked at me politely declining, asking me to reconsider and questioning why i did not accept and could not grasp that I could accept a deduction in wage. Both people interviewing me had different visions and were not aligned. I felt the need to write my experience as this could help others. Trust the glassdoor reviews and your gut!
