Interview
I was referred by a friend who was an educator and worked with the YMCA after school program. I volunteered with the after school program and then applied to be a summer camp counselor. I was asked to come into the closest YMCA location with interview one on one with a coordinator. The questions were all behavior referring to previous experiences. She was very kind and the process was very casual. I got a call a couple days after telling me that I got the job and from there I was required to take a background test as well as a drug test.
It was quick and efficient. The interview was conducted online over video call. There were multiple rounds of interviews. I talked with two different people who were in charge of hiring.
Group interview zoom call. Various ping pong style questions. Pretty straight forward asked about how you would fit and what made you stand out. The call was about 15-20 minutes.
Met up with manager in office, got asked a few standard questions, before getting shown around the place. Very standard and simple for any teen looking for a part time job
