I applied in-person. I interviewed at Thermal Structures, Inc.
Interview
I had a single interview with three people all on the same day and received an offer a week later. It was that simple and it was that quick. This is not a company with a large office group so there is no long interview process.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Thermal Structures, Inc. (Plainfield, IN) in Oct 2014
Interview
Good interview. Somewhat casual with hiring manager of division and supervisor of area. Relaxed, detail oriented but comfortable. Actually, it was the most enjoyable interview I have had. It began with several phone calls to arrange an interview time which fit everyone's schedule. After scheduling I was interviewed by both the manager and supervisor in a group type setting. Pay rate was discussed and I was informed that it was pretty much at the discretion of the California division, so there was no room for negotiation. The benefits and retirement/401k plans were explained and I was aligned with an agency which offered insurance coverage so my family could remain under insurance while I was in my first 90 day period and until corporate could approve my permanent hiring. I was contacted with their offer and potential start date within 3 days of the interview process.

Question 1
What do you think you can bring to this organization with your experience and background.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Thermal Structures, Inc. in July 2013
Interview
The initial interview was on the phone with the HR director, then I had an interview with the Quality Manager and Supervisor, then I went back to have a final interview with all of management and no one showed up but the HR director. Finally I had a phone interview with most of management and they said come to work. The whole experience had a lot of time wasted and caused me to miss my present job at the time. I should have known that management was not going to be supportive.

Question 1
The most difficult question was that I had to try to help them understand what they were looking for in this position. They did not have a job description to go by.
