I applied online. I interviewed at Thinkific (Vancouver, BC) in Oct 2021
Interview
The recruiting team was very nice, kept me informed along the way. However, each stage was very long. A one-hour phone interview plus a 3-hour panel interview to dig deep into people's history wastes everyone's time and takes a lot of resources.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are your strengths and weaknesses? Go over your job history and say what you liked, and disliked and why you left.
The overall process was way too long. I hope they have updated it by now, but a 3-hour interview where they would dive into your entire work history school history and questions about things you did so long ago that weren't very relevant was unneccesary.

Interview
Very intensive but good! The first interview is just a phone interview where they ask you basic questions. If you pass you then do a 2-3 hour interview where they go in-depth with your work experience.

They first give you a technical test. after that, there were two interviews. one with recruiters and team lead for 1 hour.
The second interview with the team leader and recruiter takes 3 hours. They ask you about your past and background because they want to see how successful you were and how much experience you had. They really don't care if you have just education with no specialty work experience.
