I applied through other source. I interviewed at Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons in Sept 2025
Interview
The interview process was pretty standard. A call then an in person interview. The interviewers were kind and asked great questions. The office is very nice! It was a two person interview as expected instead of a panel interview with 3 or more interviewers.

Question 1
Name a time where you missed a deadline or messed up and how did you handle it.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons (Minneapolis, MN) in Feb 2023
Interview
Telephone interview with national hiring partner as a preliminary screening. Then recommended to the partners in local office. Followed by an in-person interview with partners at their St. Paul office and submission of a detailed application for a background check.
The interview process was virtually non-existent. Although the initial stage included pre-application questions about my background and qualifications, the employer turned me down without reviewing my LinkedIn profile or opening my application (LinkedIn has the ability to show if the application was opened, which they did not.) There was no opportunity for an interview or further discussion, which made the rejection feel abrupt and dismissive. This experience was particularly frustrating given that I met and exceeded all the stated requirements for the role.
