      No offer

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Thrive Events (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2016

      Interview

The position was emailed to me from a job board that I uploaded by resume to. I reviewed the Thrive's website & social media outlines. From what I observed, I sent me resume to the company directly on their website which was very simple to do. Within a couple of days I received a call from the company's HR assistant. She asked me a handful of basic questions about my previous experience & was able to schedule me for a face to face interview with the Thrive's CEO. I was a bit nervous because I had little experience in PR, but always want to be involved in an event business. There were two more interviews that followed the face to face with the CEO. I really enjoyed Thrive's approach to interviewing because I knew exactly what I was going to be doing each day if I was to be selected.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Thrive Events (Phoenix, AZ) in Apr 2017

      Interview

The interview process was extremely short, only about 7 minutes and could've been done over the phone. The woman interviewing me looked over my resume and asked a few questions regarding my experience and logistics, but was somewhat rude and condescending while doing so. She didn't ask me any personal or application questions to learn more about myself or my experience. She gave a brief description of the job and glamorized it when it essentially is selling products in kiosks at Costco, nothing that fit the description of the job I found on Zip Recruiter. Not worth the time, very misleading.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Thrive Events (Phoenix, AZ) in Dec 2016

      Interview

I spoke with a hiring manager for about 15 minutes, and the interview was over. We talked about the company as a whole. The hiring manager explained that they bring people in with no experience and train them on the basic level for all positions. If you do an excellent job after 7-12 months then you are promoted to a manager or higher paying position.

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Thrive Events (Phoenix, AZ)

      Interview

Process took about two days from initially applying online to receiving a phone call to schedule an interview. Interview was for a job I did not apply for. It wasn't until the tail end of the interview when they informed me that the position I applied for basically did not exist and that instead I would be working at a booth inside of a Costco. Very misleading. Very frustrating.
