      Executive Assistant Interview

      25 July 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Tiger Data (New York, NY) in July 2025

      Interview

I was initially contacted by a recruiter and went through three rounds of interviews, only to be told that the role was suddenly put on hold due to a hiring freeze. A few weeks later, they reached out again to resume the process, and I participated in another two to three rounds. The final round was with the Chief People Officer, who appeared disengaged and dismissive during the conversation. I was also asked to complete a timed "exercise" that required sorting data in six minutes, but was not allowed to use basic keyboard functions like copy/paste. The task felt unrealistic and disconnected from the actual job requirements. This entire process, especially for a short-term, 6-month contract role, felt disorganized, unnecessarily lengthy, and at times, disrespectful to candidates' time and efforts. I would caution others to carefully consider whether it's worth investing time into their hiring process.

Fix any obvious data inconsistencies you notice
