I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
As honest as it gets…
- LONGEST interview process. It was only 3 rounds but it lasted over 1 month and a half. My friend also interviewing there had 6 rounds! Insane.
- 2/3 times the interviewers were late.
- They told me I was a final candidate, congratulated me, asked for my availability and then ghosted me for 2 weeks. Afterwards I received a rejection email. After such a long process it was incredibly disappointing. Luckily I had other job offers but they were very inconsiderate.
- Honestly if you care about WLB AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I know 4 people that work there and they all have no lives. But it will look good in your resume! Also they are anti WFH and apparently employees are very unhappy about it but management ignores this.
I applied online. I interviewed at TikTok (Austin, TX)
Interview
Phone screener followed by interview with team manager and third round with panel. overall, the process was pretty seamless and I will say I did appreciate how communicative the recruiter was ultimately, they decided not to hire for the role which was disappointing, but they were very transparent and kept me in the loop in a timely manner
