I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TikTok (Amsterdam) in July 2024
Interview
Very clear, helpful recruiter.
First introduction conversation, 2nd conversation more in depth with questions, 3rd round is a case study with 7 days to prepare, 4th round would be in-person conversation with hiring manager.
No feedback after the interview rounds were completed, reached out and was told they can't share feedback. They contacted me after several months for a different position with no feedback on the selection process
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TikTok in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview process involved seven stages but was unfortunately marked by serious issues. Most interviewers arrived late, and at one point, I adjusted my schedule during a personal commitment, only for the interview to be postponed last minute. After reaching the offer stage, communication became inconsistent and unclear. Despite clearly stating my salary expectations from the start, the final offer did not align, and I was repeatedly asked for sensitive documents and information that I had already stated I couldn’t provide. After two months of frequent interactions, I received no final feedback, learning the process had ended only upon receiving a satisfaction survey by email. Overall, the disorganization and lack of clarity throughout the process made for a disappointing experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview questions covered a wide range of topics, including strategic thinking, market knowledge, and leadership skills relevant to the role. I was also asked detailed questions about the functionality and user experience of the company's app, exploring both technical and user-oriented perspectives.
