The hiring manager based in China was super incompetent. He didn't even know what he was talking about and just rambled a lot. Also, I talked a lot but wasn't sure how much he understood what I said.

introduce yourself, why you are interested in this position
The interview process began with HR based in Singapore, which gave me an early sense of the company culture. During the conversation, I shared my experience, and the HR representative mentioned that my background might not be the best fit for the role. There were also questions around my motivation for leaving my current position, and they suspect "whats wrong with the company? or what happen with you?"
Based on the interaction, I felt there might be a misalignment in expectations and communication style. Ultimately, I decided not to proceed further, as I value a workplace culture that fosters open, constructive dialogue and makes employees feel supported.

Interview
The process was swift and fast until the last round with the HR. It was delayed for more than 10 days as she was on leave (based in China). Overall it was a great experience chatting with the team.
